  • Textured Chewth Pick Textured Chewth Pick

    ARK Textured Chewth Pick

Ark's Chewth Pick is a charming chewable "toothpick" tool designed specifically for teenagers and adults as a discreet way to chew. These toothpicks for chewing are slim and slender, with bumps on one side and ribs on the other side for lots of tactile sensory input. The Chewth Pick measures 0.3" in diameter and 4" long. Because of the slender size, these are recommended for teenagers and adults with mild chewing needs. Each pack contains one of each toughness. Toughness Guide: Standard - This is the softest level, recommended for mild chewers (those who do not chew through anything). XT / Medium Firm - This is the middle level. It's firmer, but still fairly chewy, recommended for moderate chewers. XXT / Very Firm - This is the toughest level. It still has some chewability to it, but it's fairly rigid / pretty firm. No chew tool is indestructible, but this is usually the longest lasting level for avid chewers.

  • Textured Grabber Textured Grabber

    ARK Textured Grabber

ARK's Textured Grabber® is an oral motor chew tool with 3 different surfaces to chew on: one smooth, one with circular bumps, and one with rectangular bumps. As a chew tool, sensory seekers LOVE the extra sensory input from the added texture. As a feeding therapy tool, these textures simulate the feel of actual food for realistic non-food chewing practice. They can also help desensitize the mouth, decrease oral defensiveness/aversions, and transition individuals with sensory issues from pureed to textured foods. 2" across the loop, 5" lengthwise, and 0.5" thick. • Textured Grabber P Tube Textured Grabber P Tube

    ARK Textured Grabber P Tube

ARK's Textured Grabber® P Tube is just like the original Textured Grabber, but about 2" of the stem is hollow instead of solid. The tube-like extension is perfect for individuals who want their chew tool to "collapse" more, whether as a sensory chew and/or in feeding therapy. As an oral motor tool, use it to practice biting/chewing skills without the risk of choking, build jaw strength and stability, and exercise the mouth muscles. Put pureed foods inside the tube for functional biting/chewing practice so that the individual gets a taste of food when they bite down. Because the hollow tube provides less resistance than the solid original Grabbers, this is a great "starter" chew tool for individuals with very limited jaw strength. The bumps and nubs help provide extra sensory input and tactile feedback. 2" across the loop, 5" long, and 0.5" thick.
